Hello, Congrats on your purchase and good luck for your restoration. I just happen to own also one that I just bought, it is in better shape but I stille need to do a light restoration. here is my email if you want to exchange. screensmoke (at) mac.com
My name is Frederic. I bought a couple of months ago one Ghia 1500 GT in Michigan in the US. I leave in France. I guess you have been in contact with Tony the former owner on Facebook. If I am not mistaken. Anyway, the car is now in my garage after a longway from the US. Passing the french border was a nightmare.... But now it finally arrived! I have now starting the restructuration. The car is almost complete, but some parts are missing. among them the most critical are: one seat, the steering wheel Ghia emblem, the fuel tank and the tachometer. Looking through the web I think that the seat is the same as the ones on the ASA 1100 GT, but not sure. I have tried to look for the Ghia Emblem but without any success. If you have any information where I could get these items that would be very helpfull! You can write to me at the following address fredericbossan@yahoo.fr. If you give me yours, I can send you some pictures. I will open my blog soon so I can post the advancementof the restauration! Kind regards Frederic
